Ok so, I walked to the Javits Convention Center by myself and got there a little bit before 8 AM. I didn't see anybody in line so I was like, "I can't be there first one here!?!" I waited a few minutes and then a woman told me to come over and she gave me my badge and told me to go downstairs where everyone else was waiting. At the bottom of the escalator I saw Destini and some other girls so I was relieved to actually see some fans. We went inside this basement-like area and sat down with the girls I met at USC last time. While we were waiting the group got gradually bigger as some people who were alone wanted to sit with us (or towards the front of the line) I think like 4 other girls came. I feel really really bad cause I was the one that said that they could sit with us, even though I had like no right to say that they could. But I was just trying to be friendly... >_< and I really can't say just say "NO" if someone asks to sit with us. 2 of the girls Pen (?) and Wendy were really awesome. I will explain laterr. Plus they told me that they got there at like 6 AM but didn't know where to go so...yea.
Oh yea and this also reminds me that when I got to the airport to go to NY I guess I looked kinda lost and this woman at a desk told me to come over and asked me what my flight was. I assumed she was just there to help guide people where to go so I went over to her desk and she pointed me in the right direction. BUT THEN she started talking about how she's a part of some charity and she asked me for a donation to help save children in Africa. (and paying $20 will help save up to 12 children!) I was thinking "OMG I've been tricked T_T" So I said sure...and gave $10 *cries*
Back to the comic con! Uhh waited in line for a long time before the doors opened and the madness happened. I was carrying my bags cause I checked out of the hotel that morning so I couldn't get up the stairs quite fast enough to get to the front of the booth. One of the girls that randomly sat next to me in line (honestly I don't remember where she came from?? lol) helped get the pamphlets and stuff which was nice... As everyone started crowding around the booth we were told to get into a single line which did not happened cause NO ONE wanted to move. Got squished more till the point where no one could really move. It was a while until they started passing out tickets in worst possible way ever. I couldn't believe how everyone in the back just kept pushing. Isn't it obvious that you're just making the whole situation worse? If you're in the back you're obviously not gonna somehow miraculously push your way to the front and get a hold of a ticket. Tickets were handed out kind of randomly to the people in the front and I didn't end up getting one. I started to cry but it wasn't just because of that. It was the fans' behavior and it was really frustrating. It also upsets me when people get angry so the managers and fans all yelling and everything kinda got to me. And the poor little boy almost got trampled?? It was horrible...
And so everyone knows that Sho couldn't come down to greet us and he was upstairs and greeted us through a glass window lol. I ended up in the back to the left cause I actually forgot about Sho while I was crying. It was okay though cause just being able to see him made me happy. Umm everyone sang A.Ra.Shi. and she tried to listen to it through the glass which was cute and did the hand movements at the end. HE'S SO ADORABLE!<3 (and hot) Ok anyways, I realized I lost everyone that I knew but then found Pen and Wendy. Wendy actually got a ticket and saw that I was crying...she promised to give me her ticket if Pen couldn't get one cause she didn't wanna watch the movie w/o her best friend. I was really shocked and didn't wanna accept it but she insisted. So anyway, we made a quick stop at the bathroom cause my makeup melted off from my tears, then took a taxi to DGA in hopes to get more tickets.
Security people eventually split us up into 3 lines, people w/o tickets, people with tickets, and then guests or whatever they were. It was really cold o.o but we waited out there until past 7:30 when Sho came buy in a white Escalade limo or something. The lights were on inside so we could see him and he was sitting facing us. His face looked absolutely shocked! His mouth was open like this :o I didn't see the girl who ran with the limo, but yea I heard about it. I couldn't see him walk the red carpet. People were climbing on the line separator thingies O.O so I was just like ok nevermind! lol. They let the guests and everyone with their tickets in, but only gave out about 10 more tickets to the people in our line. It was stupid cause after they said they didn't have anymore, they suddenly said "Ok we'll let in 4 more people!" .."Alright we'll let 2 more people in!" and everyone went mad and ran to the guy. That as a little scary. So Pen and I and her other friend that came late cause she had to go to work, waited outside for Wendy who was debating whether or not to come outside and give the ticket to me. She wanted to see Sho (which I completely understand) so she stayed for his greeting and came out and handed me her ticket. By then pretty much everyone left besides us and a couple other girls, and this guy who really was a Miike fan and wanted to see the movie lol.
So...I went inside and asked if I could get in but the security refused to let me because they said tickets could not be transfered from person to person and I would also be disturbing the movie if I went in -.- OMG I would just totally ruin the entire movie (even though it JUST started) if I quietly stepped into the theater and sat in the front where Wendy's seat was! Man, couldn't argue with that! So I cried again because I seriously thought it wasn't fair and I can't handle rejection well (LOL...ok, no) I went outside and explained what happened, Wendy and Pen tried to comfort me and were like, "just keep crying and they'll feel sorry and let you in!" lol This Japanese woman came out, I'm not sure who she was exactly, and explained that it wasn't possible for me to be let in and she was really sorry. She felt really bad and brought us the Yatterman mask thing and another thingy with the pig on it and Wendy begged some more to try to get me in. Umm the rest was kind of a blur...I notice that the woman took a picture of us though, like randomly. (Oh God, PLEASE don't show it to Sho cause I was crying like mad lol) We were really stubborn and stood out there for some time and the pink suited man came out and said that he felt terrible that we'd been standing out in the cold for such a long time and that he'd let us in to watch the Q&A. I was soooosososososo happy and grateful. They probably just let us in though cause they didn't wanna get blamed for us freezing to death LOL. So we went into Starbucks until the movie ended at around 10:15 PM. We did a therapy-like circle thing where we all said our names, where we're from, blah blah. We went back to DGA and the pink suited man came out, told us to be REAL calm and then let us in :)
We came in while the credits were rolling and Wendy spotted Sho sitting up in the balcony right above us! There was a little break after the movie and then the Q&A started. For Sho's first question he answered it in English! I don't remember what he said though lol. The rest was in Japanese. I really thought he looked upset/angry when one of the questions was asked, but according to some Japanese fans they just said he was surprised. So I'm not really sure about that...Um oh yea, I was standing like behind the very last row of seats which was also where the photographers were standing. I peaked at their camera and saw a few pics that they took lol! When the Q&A was done, Sho exited through the stage so the 6 or 7 of us quickly went back outside to see if we could see him come out of the theater. We were standing at the main entrance wondering whether it would be okay for us to get close to the exit where Sho was gonna come out. I slowly walked closer to it and then suddenly Sho came walking out. I was so startled I like knocked over my uchiwa, but caught it before it fell lol, and screamed a little. I felt SO stupid but it just automatically came out D: I clasped my mouth and kinda froze after that lol while he walked to his van. I went closer to the van where the other girls were and we all waved goodbye to him. The windows were tinted so I couldn't see well lol but one of the girls said he was waving back.
On the flight home this morning I fell asleep right after I got on the plane haha since I didn't sleep the whole night. I woke up like 3-4 hours later and couldn't fall back asleep for some reason. I started tearing up while I was just thinking about what happened. And then the tears just kept rolling! haha and the guys sitting next to me must've thought I was some psycho but whatever. I had to go to the bathroom cause I ran out of tissue lol. Even though a lot of bad things happened I was soo thankful that I was able to see the Q&A and hopefully everyone had a good time too...it was totally worth the trip!
